Our Story

It started in 2020 during the covid lockdown. Like many others, life slowed down and normal work stopped. With a few basic tools and time on my hands, I built my first small projects just to stay busy.

The Beginning

What began as something simple quickly turned into something I genuinely enjoyed.

Growth

I started buying more tools, learning as I went, and before long woodworking became more than just building.

Today

Every piece is shaped with intention and becomes part of someone’s home and everyday life.

It became about taking an idea and turning it into something real. Something people can use every day, keep for years, and connect memories to over time.

One of the things I enjoy most about woodworking is seeing raw material slowly become something useful and lasting. Knowing a piece will sit in someone’s home, be used around family and friends, and become part of everyday life gives the work real meaning to me.

As the years went on, woodworking became more than just a skill or business. My faith in Jesus has shaped the way I work, the way I treat people, and the standard I try to hold myself to in every project with honesty, patience, and care.

Working with wood has also taught me a lot about life. Every piece has knots, grain patterns, imperfections, and challenges. You cannot force it to become something it is not. You learn to work with its character and shape it with purpose.

That mindset carries into every project I take on. The goal is not just to make something that looks good on the day it is delivered, but to create something solid, meaningful, and built to last.

Every piece tells a story.
And every story has a purpose.

My name is Kyle,
and this is Fount Wood.

Fount is a reference to Jesus, our Fount of Living Water, who is the source of everything I do. It is a reminder that every project is shaped with purpose, care, and something greater flowing through the work.
